I heart jewelries

Hey peeps. I hope you are enjoying your sunday? I'm totally bored so you can expect a lot of blogging from this girl (me). I've just downloaded an app called Picsay Pro to my phone, so I've been playing with that for a while and used some effects on the following pictures. Pictures of some of my most beloved jewelry

These pearl bracelets are adorable. The one to the left I got from Mai Lindharts Smykkeside (you can find it on facebook) and the one on the right is from a small buddhashop in New York. The colors are perfect for this autumn/winter.

That's me. Hello :) I lolololoooove these earrings. They are mostly for party, but they'll look cool with a boring everyday outfit as well.
Rings and earrings are my favourtie jewelry. I always wear these rings together. The small one is from Guatemala and the big one I got from my parents when I graduated. (Nailpolish from Models Own)

Lovin this necklace. Though I hardly ever use it. I bought it in SoHo, NY.

Dog Slapping Cat with Tail

I am a HUGE dog lover, but I gotta admit this cat is pretty cute as well. I have a weakness for really dumb/funny animals.
I first saw this video at www.tastefullyoffensive.com

To get me through this winter

I'm not a huge fan of snow, cold wind and slimy stuff in the nose, but since I live in Denmark it's something I have to live with. So here's some stuff that most definitely would make MY winter a lot prettier and warmer

Leather boots from www.asos.com. I always prefer real leather because I think it looks so much better than fake and it lasts longer. These boots are AWESOME. I love'em with all my heart.
This headband from www.topshop.com is so cool. It would fit my head perfectly, I'm sure.
These socks are from www.asos.com as well. I'm actually the sweet owner of them and they are quite lovely!
Khaki snood from www.riverisland.com The color is really nice and it's a nice detail that the snood is braided. 22 £

Chavela Vargas

So the other day I was watching one of my favourite movies called Frida Kahlo. This time I really noticed an old lady that was singing so painfully beautiful. Her name is Chavela Vargas and you can hear her here (a clip from the movie)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfodRPeOiWU&feature=related

She is a lesbian and it is said that she actually had an affair with Frida Kahlo which is why I think it's really cool that she's in the movie. "La llorona" means one of these women who cry at funerals. You know, a crying woman.I love her voice. It is called "the rough voice of tenderness" and I think that description fits perfectly. She has a real voice, a real personality and a real point with her songs. The most real thing for a lot of singers/songwriters today is money and fame.

My fave things

Hello again. I have a tiny, tiny room, but I love it anyway. What I like the most are the colors on my walls (grey and grey/dark green) and all the unique things I have from my travelling. Now I would like to show you some of my favorite things in my room:

This picture/post card is from an exhibition with Alexander McQueen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The frame is from a secondhand shop and cost like 1$ (!!!) I love collecting post cards and use them as (cheap) art.

I bought these frames from one of my favorite pages www.urbanoutfitters.com . I especially like the rope that connects the frames. It's a very girly frame, but I think it looks good on my "rough" wall.

This poster is from Urban Outfitters as well. I simply love it! It's kinda retro I think. It desperately needs a frame, but I haven't got around to it yet. I actually found out that I have seen butterfly number 15 in real life ;)

My first input

Hello there! This is my new blog. I've had a travelblog before, but since I don't travel anymore I thought I'd create a new one. So here it is! YEAY! Like it says on the top I will write about many different things like fashion, music, books, decoration, other blogs etc etc. My native language is Danish so if you find spelling or grammar mistakes, well, now you know why.
I'm just a normal girl... - okay, scratch that - I have never really felt normal. Dunno what I mean with that. I guess I just feel different. I'm 21 years old. I live with my parents, whom I love very mucho, but I can't wait to leave this boring, safe nest.
I'm not gonna write a novel about me and my life, you'll probably learn some as we go. But here's three things you should know about me, before I really start blogging:
- Human beings fascinate me
- 9 out of 10 days I LOVE my life
- I am currently unemployed

Bye guys :-)
